The fact that Beckett constantly “forgot” her name and their witty banter had me laughing most of the time. Their romance was sweet and fun to read about, especially since both were so adamant about not liking each other even though it was obvious from the beginning that they would be perfect together.

Both Finley and Beckett were great characters alone, but even better together because they seemed to strengthen each other. Is it enough to convince her that everything she’s been looking for has been with her all along?Ĭharacters: I absolutely loved every character in this book, even grumpy Cathleen Sweeney. Then she comes across something that changes her perspective irrevocably. Once in Ireland, Finley starts to break down – the loss of her brother and the pressure of school, her audition, and whatever it is that is happening between her and Beckett, leads her to new – and dangerous – vices. Undeterred, Beckett convinces her to be his assistant in exchange for his help as a tour guide. She’s the one girl who seems immune to his charm. Beckett Rush, teen heartthrob and Hollywood bad boy, is flying to Ireland to finish filming his latest vampire movie. So she agrees to an exchange program and boards the plane. It’s the place he felt most alive – and she desperately needs to feel alive again. She decides to travel to Ireland following his travel journal. But her creativity disappeared with the death of her older brother. With an upcoming audition at the Manhattan music conservatory, Finley needs to compose her audition piece. Finley Sinclair is not your typical eighteen year old.
